Notice
This Website (“www.mygracebaptist.org”; “Service(s)”, “site”, “Website”) is owned and operated by Grace Baptist Church (“GBC”, “we”, “our”, “us”). The following is an outline of our policy regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information of visitors to this Website.
If you (the “user”, “visitor”) choose to visit our Website, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The personal information we collect is used for providing and improving our online Services. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this policy.
Information Collection and Use
We do not require you to reveal any personally identifying information in order to access our Website. Although personally identifying information may be required to use certain features offered through our Website (including, but not limited to registration for various events, classes, newsletter subscriptions, etc.), participants provide this information on a voluntary basis only. Collection of personal information required to access certain Services may include the collection of date of birth, name, mailing address, and/or email address.
How We Use Your Information
Personally identifying information that we collect for a specific purpose is stored and used only for that purpose, unless the participant chooses to opt-in to one or more of the programs or email newsletters offered on our Website. Credit card numbers are used only for payment processing and are only retained as needed by our credit card processor, not by GBC. Aside from our established third-party service providers, we will not share any personally identifying information with any other third parties (except as required by law). Also, we will never sell any personally identifying information to a third party.
Service Providers
We may only employ third-party companies and individuals to provide, facilitate, perform, analyze, and improve our Services.
GBC may share information with third party service providers only as required to receive such services. We also share information as required by law, including to law enforcement and/or similar organizations, in connection with criminal investigation, fraud, infringement of intellectual property rights, and/or other activity that is suspected to be illegal or that may expose our users or GBC to legal liability. We may use personally identifying information and records for defense in a lawsuit, investigation, or other action if that personally identifying information (including related records and profiles) is relevant to the lawsuit, investigation, or action.
These third parties may have access to your personal information to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, rest assured, they are not permitted to disclose or use that information for any other purpose.
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you visit our website, we collect information that your browser sends to us – in other words, Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, pages of our Website that you visited, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics visible through our website security plugin, Wordfence.
We do not track your activities outside of Wordfence – our primary purpose for collecting Log Data is to ensure a secure and smooth Service to our visitors. Any other data collected by our third party services is used exclusively by those services and for those services.
Cookies
“Cookies” are files with a small amount of data commonly used to track users through anonymous unique identification. These are sent to your browser from websites that you visit and are stored temporarily on your computer’s hard drive. These files may be removed at any time through the employment of cache-cleaning software tools such as CCleaner.
Our Website may use cookies to collect information to secure and improve our Service. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies, and to know when a cookie is being sent to your computer. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.
Security
We sincerely value your trust in providing us with your personal information, thus we strive to protect it by all possible means. This includes the installation of an SSL security certificate across our website to ensure transaction security, as well as the employment of a sitewide security plugin called Wordfence. Though we all wish it were not so, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security perpetually into the future. However, we will continue to adhere to standard security practices, as well as keep a watchful eye on potential vulnerabilities and cybersecurity trends to keep our site as secure as possible for all our visitors.
