Notice
This website (“www.gracebaptist.life”; “Service”, “site”) is owned and operated by Grace Baptist Church (“GBC”, “we”, “our”, “us”). The following as an outline of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of the personal information of visitors to this website.
If you (the “user”, “visitor”) choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The personal information we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
We do not require website visitors to reveal any personally identifying information in order to access the GBC website. Although personally identifying information may be required to use certain features offered through our website (including, but not limited to registration for various events, classes, newsletter subscriptions, etc.), participants provide this information on a voluntary basis only. Collection of personal information required to access certain website services may include the collection of date of birth, name, mailing address, and/or email address.
How We Use Your Information
Personally identifying information that we collect for a specific purpose is stored and used only for that purpose, unless the participant chooses to opt-in to one or more of the programs or email newsletters offered on our website. Credit card numbers are used only for payment processing and are only retained as needed by our credit card processor, not by GBC. Aside from our established third-party service providers below, we will not share any personally identifying information with any other third parties. Also, we will never sell any personally identifying information to a third party.
Service Providers
We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:
To facilitate our Service;
To provide the Service on our behalf;
To perform Service-related services; or
To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
GBC may share information with third party service providers such as our payment processor (Tithe.ly) and our email marketing provider (to be determined). We also share information with appropriate third parties, including law enforcement and/or similar organizations, in connection with criminal investigation, fraud prevention, infringement of intellectual property rights, and/or other activity that is suspected to be illegal or that may expose our users or GBC to legal liability. We may use personally identifying information and records for defense in a lawsuit, investigation, or other action if that personally identifying information, including related records and profiles, is relevant to the lawsuit, investigation, or action.
We want to inform our Service users that these third parties have access to your personal information to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, rest assured, they are not permitted to disclose or use that information for any other purpose.
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you visit our website, we collect information that your browser sends to us – in other words, Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, pages of our Service that you visited, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics visible in our Google Analytics Property Data for www.gracebaptist.life.
Our website also uses a variety of technical methods for tracking conversions, including Google UTM campaign and page tracking codes (see Google Tag Manager to learn more). This is used to analyze the traffic patterns on our website, such as the frequency with which consumers visit various parts of our website. These technical methods may involve the transmission of information either directly to us or to a third party authorized by us to collect information on our behalf. We also apply these technical methods in HTML emails that we send to our newsletter subscribers to determine whether recipients have opened the emails or clicked on links in those emails. This helps us to determine the level of success for each individual email campaign. The information collected in these cases, therefore, is personally identifiable.
